It's truly painful to see this gem close. The gentrification finally took its toll on it. I'd been visiting for 24 years and there were so many regulars - at times a little displaced by the hipster crowds - but always resilient enough to remain. There was nothing like sitting there on a sunny LA morning and having one of the best breakfast burritos in town as the locals whisked in for coffee and breakfast - for years, you'd see many familiar faces. A real loss for Echo Park.

I am very sad to say that it looks like Patra's is closed. I have been going here for my charbroiled burger fix for over work years. It was a happy medium between McDonald's/Burger King/jack in the box and the more smash burgers/annoy/Cassell's burgers. Thank you for the burgers and orangr bangs. The neighborhood will miss you.

Was in the neighborhood and had a craving for a nice burger. I searched on my map for nearby places and this one came up as an option. The place is very old school and the service also old school but the burger was delightful and definitely lifted my spirits up. The sad thing is that this place is closing at the end of the month per the sign on the front window. Seems like the last establishment in a gentrified neighborhood. Sad times.

Food was really good specially their burgers. Costumer service was definitely good. An old gem in Dodgertown. If you haven't had a chance to check it out make sure you do.

I have passed by this place so many times that I have lost count and I frequently dine at Monty's across the street so had to give this place a try and we are happy that we did so. It's the traditional to go burger stand with limited outdoor seating, but in general is designed for to go. They have a small free parking lot attached, but it was full when we arrived so we had to do neighborhood street parking. They have a fairly large menu filled all sorts of classic diner options. Everything we ordered came out pretty fast as well. For our first time we wanted to try a mix of items so we ordered the Double Chili Cheeseburger, the Club Sandwich, and a BLTA. All were very good, although none were great. I would say The Club was my favorite of all of them, but honestly, I would give this place another try and plan to be back in the future to try more items.

The food is cooked fresh, nice and hot. The service sometimes takes long, depending on how many people show up

Breakfast burritos are amazing (sausage, cheese) and the hot sauce is one of my favorites I've tasted anywhere in LA. Also try The double cheeseburger if you want a REAL cheeseburger. Add bacon and avocado. Don't forget to get thousand island sauce for your fries to complete your combo. Great service. I've become a regular.
